Boundaries
I have clear boundaries. When I say no without guilt, I honour myself and my own health, self-worth and well-being
Contemplation
- Do I tend to place the needs of others ahead of my own?
- Do I have a need to please others, at my own expense?
- How can I offer myself acceptance in a way that is safe and respectful of my own needs and limitations?
- Where do I have unmet expectations that come from sharing and giving without balance?
- What needs are going unmet by myself and others as a result of my overgiving ?
- What boundaries do I need to put in place?
- Where or when or with whom do I need to practice saying No.
- If saying No feels too uncomfortable what words I can use instead to communicate my decision to not meet a request or expectation?
- What is the cost of continuing to say yes when I need to say NO?
- Can I live with the consequences of saying yes when No is really the appropriate response?
- How will I feel and how will my life change if I learn to say yes to myself and my needs first?
- What are the benefits to myself and others when I exercise strong boundaries?
